The programme aims to support different value chains at a regional level, this will give room for the promotion of structural transformation, better access to regional and international markets while taking into consideration peculiar social and environmental concerns. The activities at the regional level are expected to better link value chain actors on a larger scale, strengthen quality infrastructure while promoting environmental issues, formulate, harmonize and monitor regional policies that will improve industrial competitiveness and also ensure that the programme is properly managed and monitored.
